Day Aisha Buhari met Ugandan First Lady

Nigeria's First Lady Aisha Buhari with her Ugandan counterpart, Janet Museveni

Wife of the President, Mrs. Aisha Muhammadu Buhari recently presented some literature on her NGO Future Assured Programme to First Lady of the Republic of Uganda, Hon. Janet Museveni who paid her a courtesy visit at the Presidential Villa.

https://ssl.gstatic.com/ui/v1/icons/mail/images/cleardot.gifMrs. Buhari who was received her Ugandan counterpart in good spirit spoke glowingly of Mrs. Museveni, who doubles as Minister of Education and Sports in her country, saying they share a common vision for women and children.
Janet gives Aisha a gift from Kampala
 She stated that she was championing the return of community learning centers across the country to make it easy for women to acquire or continue their education, and had already commenced a Youth Education Empowerment Programme (YEEP) to train them to meet requirements for entry into tertiary institutions.

The two first ladies later shared photographs before members of the state press corps and other guests in the villa.
