One man that is presently disturbed with the way and manner the Nigerian society has been speckled is property development expert, Engineer Kayode Idowu.
The East London trained software testing engineer who invested big in the Nigerian real estate and oil and gas sector is totally disillusioned with the way and manner the government of the day has failed in her responsibility to give Nigerian people befitting governance hence his desire to take the mantle and lead as Nigerian president.
“I want Nigerians to be able to feed three times daily. The moment we achieve that, Nigeria has become a full blown democratically viable country. Within my first four years in power, people will not cry about food and families will not count food as one of their problems any longer”

Kayode Idowu who was among 20 Nigerians given meritorious awards during a Women Empowerment and Merit Award ceremony organized by the All Progressive Congress Ojokoro Women Chapter under the distinguished leadership of Chief (Mrs.) Basirat Olayinka Ojugbele on Sunday November 16th   in Lagos  said ‘the need for government to start seeing itself as being responsible for the fortune and misfortune of the people is of paramount concern as no government can claim credibility without deriving its source from the people that appointed it”

Engineer Idowu
who is the Managing Director of Sideview Energy, an oil and gas firm and MC Bolton Ltd, a property development company with head quarters in Lekki, Lagos South West Nigeria was honored by the Ojokoro Women under the All People’s Congress (APC) for his meritorious gesture in the area of youth empowerment and poverty eradication. Speaking to asabeafrika after receiving his award Engineer Idowu who is equally famous in the Lekki area of Lagos Island for being Music icon, David Adeleke aka Davido’s developer said he felt honored and nearly moved to tears for such a honor bestowed upon him within a short time of establishing his business in Nigeria “When I came into Nigeria couple of years back, my intention was to create a visible employment system that will add value and take the leak off government in terms of giving jobs to the mass of youth and closing the wide gap of unemployment in Nigeria, today with MC Bolton our property firm and Sideview Energy our oil and gas firm we could say we have been able to contribute minimally to closing up the gap of youth unemployment. However what baffles me is that some people are watching us hence the commendation through this award. I am much honored and as well humbled”

Giving a word of wisdom to the over 100 beneficiaries of the Ojokoro APC Woman Leader, Chief (Mrs.) Basirat Olayinka Ojugbele’s empowerment grant, Engineer Idowu urged the lucky beneficiaries to spend the money judiciously and establish their businesses in no long time “They should not see the grant as a meal ticket for fast food but should use it judiciously to establish themselves and move to the next level. It is not all the time that you find such opportunities where people give free empowerment programs and back it up with funds; I think this one is a rare gesture and I want the benefactors to treat it as a rare opportunity to grow big. Invest the money wisely, don’t take it to a fast food eatery but utilize it wisely and become a success story”
Speaking on his award, Engineer Idowu who has worked with several companies in the United Kingdom as a software testing engineer before coming back home seven years ago to invest in fatherland said the honor will make him work harder to create more opportunities for young people to be engaged and delivered from the circle of poverty.

On what his biggest ambition looks like, Idowu told asabeafrika that he would like to become the president of the federal republic of  Nigeria “My greatest ambition is to lead this country, take note I said ‘lead’ not ‘rule’. I want to become the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. I want to take this country out of lack and poverty. I want to give Nigeria back to Nigerians because right now Nigeria is in the hands of a few cabals. I have the formula to change the way and face of governance”
On what will be his biggest agenda when he becomes the president of the federal republic, the real estate expert and oil and gas entrepreneur who is not yet sure of the party he will seek his ambition through said “I want Nigerians to be able to feed three times daily. The moment we achieve that, Nigeria has become a full blown democratically viable country. Within my first four years in power, people will not cry about food and families will not count food as one of their problems any longer”
