Publisher of the Sun and new telegraph titles, Dr. Orji Kalu has condemned the abduction of the wife of the Sun Deputy Managing Director, Mrs. Toyin Nwosu describing the act as evil.
The heavily armed gang, which stormed Nwosu’s Ago Palace Way, Okota home in the wee hours of Monday, robbed the family members of some valuables before abducting their victim and escaping to an unknown destination through the canal.

In a statement issued by his media team and made available to the press on Tuesday, Kalu said, “the armed robbery attack on the home of Mr. Nwosu and subsequent abduction of his wife, Toyin is unfortunate and disturbing. The journalist and his family members live a modest life and are law abiding citizens of the country and as such don't deserve this dreadful treatment".

The former governor urged the perpetrators of all these criminal acts to have a rethink and ensure the safe release of the innocent mother of four.
While maintaining optimism in the efforts of the security agencies in the fight against kidnapping and terrorism in the country, he appealed to them to strengthen security especially on the waterways to prevent future occurrence.
The business mogul also urged everyone to remember the Nwosu family in prayers at this trying time.
