The National Woman Leader of the All Progressive Congress, Hajiya (Dr.) RamatuTijjani Aliyu has called on Muslim faithfull across the country to use the moment of Eidel-Kabir to look inward as well as to pray for God's guidance upon our great leaders to lift the country out of her present socio-economic predicaments.

Hajiiya (Dr.) Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu while saluting Nigerians for their enduring patience in the face of economic hardship and social apathy owing to decades of (political) greed in high places, congratulated Muslims and Nigerians at large for finding the will to vote in a courageous leader like President Muhammad Buhari in the last March 28, 2015 election.

Oba (Dr.) Oladunni Oyewumi Ajagungbade
She noted that such a feat was not a mere display of courage but a joint decision by millions of good Nigerians (Muslims and Christians alike) to take their destinies in their own hands. What you actually did was to take your collective destinies in your hands by using your thumbs to vote out bad leadership and thereby usher in great leadership
Hajiya  (Dr.) Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu a doctorate degree holder in Public Administration from Commonwealth University, London noted in a Press Release signed by her and made available to Asabeafrika that Eidel Kabir is a celebration of the willingness of man to yield to the instructions of Allah. Our Muslim brothers and sisters are aware that Eidel- Kabir is the celebration of the Islamic Festival to commemorate the unalloyed submission and unwavering willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his only son to the will of Allah. In your little ways you have also sacrificed your votes for good governance under APC and PMB
The APC Woman Leader while congratulating Muslims for being alive to witness another celebration urged them, particularly the women folk not to lose the importance of using the season to offer prayers for the nurture and guidance of great leaders that will take the country out of the woods and create a socio-political atmosphere that is befitting of human habitation.

Nigerian women have for long been praying for a divine intervention and today, we have it with the new leadership at the top. But we still need help, our country must be totally liberated and that is where our prayers and sacrifice are important. We should assume our innate roles of being the voice of caution and reason in the society. Nigerian Women should continually speak to the conscience of our husbands, brothers and sons to remain upright and peace loving. This is a viable recipe for National development. We should not just celebrate the festive season without praying. As we go to Eid today, let us pray for a complete Change at the highest levels of decision making in Nigeria. Millions of our people endure the daily grind of poverty and misery. In the mist of plenty we remain empty. We should pray for President Buhari and the new teams of leaders that will help the new government re-direct the affairs of the country.
Hajiya Tijjani assured Nigerians that her party, APC is a party with a conscience I want to assure Nigerians that our party understands the values of good governance and the effect it has on the citizenry. This government will do everything possible to re-enact and fortify the 'Nigerian Dream' as it were
The Woman Leader finally enjoined Muslims to celebrate moderately Today, after Eid, share the love and celebration with our Christian brothers and sisters; let the spirit of Eid al adha pervade the length and breadth of our beautiful country Nigeria
Meanwhile, in another release made available to this blog last night from the Royal Palace of the Soun of Ogbomoso land, Oba (Dr.) Oladunni Oyewumi Ajagungbade 111, CFR, the highly revered King congratulated Muslims across the country on this year's Eid-El-Kabir. Ogbomoso is one of the revered kingdoms in Yoruba land, situated in Oshun State, South West Nigeria.
According to the monarch, “Sallah should be seen as a period of sober reflection as individuals and as a nation.
In the goodwill message signed by his Private Secretary, Toyin Ajamu, the paramount ruler said, "we are grateful to Almighty Allah who has made it possible for us to witness this year's Eid-el-Kabir. On behalf of the good people of Ogbomoso, I extend my warmest greetings to the Muslim Ummah on this year's sallah celebration. It is a period of self appraisal and rededication to the teachings and lessons of the Holy Quran. We should embrace the spirit of love, togetherness and unity beyond the festive season. I admonish Nigerians to live a positive life that is committed to the service of God and humanity. May we continue to witness more celebrations in our lives; Barka de Sallah".
Kabiyesi Alayeluwa Oba (Dr.) Oladunni Oyewumi Ajagungbade used the opportunity of the yuletide period to advise parents to teach their wads to become good citizens of the country "For the sake of nation building, parents and guardians must live by example by upholding good moral values and ethics in their endeavors and by teaching their wads the right steps to take", Oba Oyewumi added.
The paramount ruler while urging Nigerians to pray for the success of the Buhari-led federal government, called on the political class to see leadership as an opportunity to serve the people and not for the accumulation of wealth, adding that the people's welfare must be paramount in the policy thrust of government.
The monarch wished Muslims a fulfilling and hitches free celebration.
